Another festival from Solok Tourism Board, West Sumatra.Solok Regency, West Sumatra will held Festival Danau Singkarak & Danau Kembar (Singkarak Lake & Twin Lake Festival) on August 23-27, 2008. This event will be opened by Minister of Tourism & Culture: Mr Jero Wacik.As part of "Visit Indonesia Year 2008" program, Festival Danau Singkarak & Danau Kembar aim to re-discover the nature & wildness of the tourism spots in West Sumatra and also to rise the traditional culture. Traditional children plays and more games will also be performed such as West Sumatra Traditional Kite Festival Festival, West Sumatra Tradional Pacu Biduk, Chicken Kukuek Balenggek Competition, Uda-Uni Election, Food Competition, Bazaar, Paralayang Exhibition and Solok Regency Tourism Photography Competition (July 28- August 23, 2008).
